Summary

"On-the-edge technology" is the name of the game. And it has been a pleasure for me to be working with that during almost all of my professional career.
To mention a few: TRADOS Translation tools back in the 90's, Product Information Management systems and currently TARGIT's unique Business Intelligence Suite.

October 2003 – Present (5 years 1 month)

Took over managing responsibility for TARGIT University (education branch of TARGIT A/S) at end of 2004. In the 4 years after that the number of students have tripled to more 1200 students/year. TARGIT University educates customers of the TARGIT BI Suite product as well as the large network of partners and resellers.

1998 – 2003 (5 years)

Started out as developer in the Content Management group for small business (working on Microsoft Access Databases). Soon moved to Project Management as technical Project Manager. Bridging the gap between customers and R&D.

 

IT Manager / Software Specialist - DTECH Translation

1993 – 1998 (5 years)

DTECH Translation mainly focused on translating computer software and at that time was the main translation vendor for Microsoft Office Products (good old Office 97). Starting out as technical project assistant I quickly gained responsibility for the IT infrastructure. DTECH Translation also held the sales rights for TRADOS translation tools, and I very much enjoyed pre- and post-sales activities, including education, in relation to TRADOS.
